Let the amount of coffee A and coffee B mixed be A and (10 - A) pounds respectively.
Now, A×75 + (10 - A)×80 = 10×78
or, 75A + 800 - 80A = 780
or, 80A - 75A = 800 - 780
or, 5A = 20
or, A = 4 pounds
